Every human being is unique, so therefore each client’s program needs to be carefully coordinated to achieve their specific goals and needs. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, the ONE Human Performance approach looks at each client as an individual. While our competition is giving everyone the same program and hoping it works, ONE Human Performance applies a systematic and scientific approach that guarantees results. This is done by assessing each client’s needs based on goals, background, schedule, functional ability, lifestyle and mindset, as well as position, sport and season for athletes.
While most trainers and specialists focus on being “Speed Guys”, “Kettlebell Experts” or “Strength Gurus”, they often miss the mark with the clients because they are trying to impose what they are good at, regardless of what the individual needs or wants. Whether you are a point guard or a nose guard, a master athlete or grandmother, everyone does the same thing.
Keep the goal the goal”
— Dan John , World renowned Strength Coach
The ONE Human Performance philosophy is also based on the belief that health extends beyond simply the absence of disease or pain. True health and wellness is achieved when there is harmony between the mind, body and spirit and you wake up every day functioning and performing optimally and with vitality. Every year millions of people set out to improve their health, performance and well-being by engaging in a diet and training routine. Unfortunately, many of these individuals will fail in their pursuits. They commonly fall prey to false marketing and “magic bullet” programs, rather than taking a more holistic approach to success.
Triad of Health
The Triad of Health is a system used by many health professionals to assess and treat each individual’s needs by dividing them into 3 main categories:
Chemical:
The internal physiology of the body. An individual’s chemistry is affected most by their nutrition.
Mental:
The mind and body are connected in many ways, whether it be spiritual or simply through reflexes and habits.
Structural:
Muscles, joints, bones, etc. all fall in this category and is influenced greatly by movement / exercise (or lack of it).
At ONE Human Performance, we believe the only difference between where you are today and where you can be your best lies is the weak links that are in between. Our job is to find where along the Triad your weak links are and to devise an approach to systematically eliminate them until ultimately you reach your potential.
